No Red Pack Announcement in Announcement Section?

Hi all,

I came to the forum to check out what time the red pack will be released and I was surprised to see no thread announcing it in the announcement section. Is that normal? Do they create the thread after the DLC is released?

 

You saw teasers of the Red Pack DLC on Twitter, Facebook and Youtube. Full announcements for DLC have generally been on day of release so far.

 

Weird that they post only on Facebook and rarely on the forum.

On their FB profile, they announce new cars almost every other day. In fact, they posted one 40 minutes ago! All dates, cars, tracks and console news are seen there, and never here.

 

And their website still says these are the only manufacturers in the game....

 

this "issue" is since day 1 of the game, don't get me wrong i like the game, play it almost every day, but about updates you have to crawl on the internet, maybe im a basic guy person in that matter, but if i want info, i go to the website of the game, i hate twitter, i hate facebook , dont have any account of that social crap stuff, its like today , you can't reach people anymore, you have to send an email or get an robot answer machine..... in my opinion the forum/website has to be updated with latest news but seems we have always have the news when its allready sold on steam , its like they said last time with the mod section, they are managing the forums/website, so why are here the updates or news are last here posted? its positive critic i gave

 

Apparently there is a new website coming soon, Stefano reckoned it should be up in around a week.

 

The website is receiving an update and make-over soon.

 

I'm still waiting eagerly for the Red Pack. When exactly is it supposed to come today?

 

i need a new F5 key. oh and some new porn..

 

In what time approximately you will bring us this legendary pack?

Usually it's around 19:00 GMT+2, so less than 4h left.

But it would be cool to have an official statement... for the first time.

 

4 hours damn xD. Well, I wouldn't care for a statement. The only thing I'd love is DLCs and updates to come actually in the day they announce them. I mean something is planned for 14/7 then let it be 14/7 and not 14/7 night. I think you know what I mean. But anyway, these guys have done a terrific job again so let's give them time. Especially with the SF15-T they raised the bar by a mile.

You are right that it should be updated in 1.7 thread, but you can check it out yourself in the meantime. It's located in main AC folder in the "changelog.txt" file and in AC main menu.
I think the fact that they actually are working during weekend on the updates can justify that little issue.
